Frank Lange grew up in Tønder in Denmark, which is known for its folk music and jazz festival. He is writing his own songs in Danish, Norwegian, English and German; and uses classical guitar technique to underpin his songs in the best sing-songwriter style. In the latest years he also wrote pieces for classical guitar and ukulele.

Lange has also written small choral arrangements of two of his songs. In addition, he has written a smaller piece for organ and a small 4-part piece for wind instruments.

Lange is mainly self-taught. He loves music and says, "I'm just vaccinated with a gramophone stick."
